Krishna Chaitanya) the 3rd prayer states: "One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly."
(1) a humble mental state, (2) lower than the straw in the street, (3) more tolerant than a tree, (4) devoid of any sense of false prestige, and (5) ready to offer all respect to others. Can anyone do any of these five things? Can anyone achieve or reach a humble state of mind when the mind is extremely restless and uncontrollable? Would anyone even consider or think of becoming a useless straw in the street? Can anyone be truly tolerant and practically without prestige? Can anyone be respectful to anyone with no bias and no conditions? I say this is impossible. A man alone, by his own power, can not do these things. He needs help. He needs assistance. He needs God, for no mortal can actually help himself unless he is empowered by God.

Humility is humbleness or meekness, a modest or low view of one's own importance. For me, humility is the mother of all virtues; it is the foundation upon which all other virtues are built. Its utmost importance is emphasized and manifested in this prayer by God himself, by Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is also known as the Golden Avatar of the Holy Name. Indirectly, Lord Chaitanya is implying that achieving love and devotion for God is impossible unless one possesses humility. Because no one can constantly chant the names of God without humility. And only by chanting God's name love for God can be achieved.
Also manifested in this prayer is the power of the Holy Name. The Holy Name was featured in this verse as the way and the destination, the means and the goal. The Bible states, "our help is in the name of the Lord." "Save me O Lord by thy name." "The holy name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous goes there and is safe." Furthermore, in the Vedas, Lord Chaitanya states in the first verse: Glory to the Sri Krishna Sankirtana (congregational chanting of the holy name), which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious. in the Age of Kali one can achieve spiritual progress only by chanting the holy name of the Lord.
“ ‘In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy, the only means of
deliverance is the chanting of the holy names of the Lord. There is no
other way. There is no other way. There is no other way.’ ”
My Guru taught me that being seen by God is more significant than seeing God. A humble person thinks little of himself. But since God is drawn to meekness and humility, God notices that humble person. He pleases God. He is pleasing to the Supreme Person. God values him very highly. He loves him dearly.
